Product Description

Style Name: T4RC
The Aquabot Turbo T4RC Robotic Inground Pool Cleaner automatically cleans your entire pool in less than one hour or spot cleans problem areas with pinpoint accuracy using the wireless four-way remote control. The T4RC is the most efficient way possible to maintain your pool, saving both time and money, while reducing environmental impact.

Built for intelligent and efficient cleaning, the self-contained T4RC is equipped with two internal, microprocessor-guided drive motors and a directional clutch that directs the T4RC to clean any pool up to 50 feet long. In automatic mode, the obstacle detection sensory network helps the T4RC avoid getting stuck while the microprocessor program systematically cleans without wasting time trying to "learn your pool," repeatedly cleaning the same area, or missing spots altogether.

In manual mode, the T4RC's four-way precision guidance remote control allows you to direct the T4RC to spot clean or to travel specifically through unique pool configurations with pinpoint accuracy. This technology enables the T4RC to completely and automatically clean pools as much as five hours faster than other cleaners and methods, without the hassle of hoses, pumps, and vacuum poles, and reducing energy consumption. Simply turn the T4RC on, drop it in the water, and let it do the work for you.

The T4RC uses a rotating quad brush system with a patented flex-flap design to scrub waterline build-up and break up larger debris on the pool's surface area while the patented power-washing jets flush sand, silt, algae, and bacteria out from corners, creases, seams, and surface pores of the pool that the brushes can't reach. A powerful built-in pump motor vacuums in and circulates 5,000 gallons of water per hour, trapping all dirt, debris, algae, and micro-organisms inside the 19-quart internal reusable filter bag. The filter cleans out micro-organisms of up to two microns as well as leaves, hair, sand, and other dirt to ensure the healthiest swimming environment possible. The vacuum ports are located at the front and rear of the unit to avoid clogging and to ensure that all debris are collected from even the farthest reaches of the pool without hoses and the extra-wide non-marring wheels cover all surfaces of the pool.

Ease of use features on the Turbo T cleaner include: the E-Z Swivel Device to ensure a tangle-free power cable; a reset button to protect against out of water or premature operation; auto-shut off; and a customizable cleaning cycle for up to seven hours, or automatic operation with existing or auto-control pool equipment. The Turbo T's cleaner, cord, and power supply are ETL listed to UL Standards--the highest safety and reliability certification in the industry.

The Turbo T4RC has a suggested run time of just one hour but can be customized for up to a seven-hour cleaning cycle. The self-contained reusable filter has a 19-quart capacity, and the device filters up to 5,000 gallons of water an hour. The pump motor is individually sealed and brushless oil-filled for lubrication and cooling and is also water-cooled. The drive motor is individually sealed and water-cooled. The power cord is 75 feet long, self-buoyant, and constructed of durable, thermoplastic rubber that won't be degraded by chlorine. The estimated operating cost of the Turbo TRC is 10 cents per cleaning cycle depending on local energy costs. The unit's energy needs are: 115 Volts / 60 Hz, 24 V and 140 Watts.

Not only does the Aquabot keep the bottom, sides, and steps of the pool clean, it's fun to watch! It also removed the black scuff marks left by the previous owners. After 4 hours of operation the metal box housing the power supply gets very warm, but this is probably normal. I see one area for improvement and this would be to have a swivel type of attachment where the cord attaches to the vacuum. The cord does get very wrapped and tangled around itself, so I have to untangle it or reverse the cleaning pattern each day. However, the time it takes to do that is far less than the time it would take to vacuum and brush down the pool manually. I highly recommend the Aquabot over the smaller automatic cleaners because it's bigger, faster, has its own power supply that you just plug into an outlet, and it does a thorough cleaning job.
