Monitor the forecast and track the temperature indoors and out with this Weather Channel wireless forecast station from La Crosse Technology. Simply place the remote sensor in a convenient location outdoors up to 330 feet away, and the base unit will display temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit as well as monitor outdoor humidity levels using data transmitted from the sensor.

The station also forecasts changes in the weather based on alterations in air pressure with easy-to-read icons indicating cloudy, rainy, partly sunny, or sunny conditions. An air-pressure tendency arrow shows whether the barometer is rising or falling, and the station records daily high and low temps, which can display with the push of a button.

In addition to monitoring the weather, the device tells time with precision, thanks to its digital atomic clock, which receives a regular auto-tune signal and automatically updates for daylight savings time. Other nice features of the clock include a manual-set option, easy-to-read digits, a 12- or 24-hour setting, time zone indicator, and a DST override option.

La Crosse Technology ships this station with the base and one remote sensor, but it is capable of receiving data from up to three sensors, if others are purchased separately. (The compatible sensor is model TX29U-IT.) Designed to mount to a wall or set up freestanding, the Weather Channel base takes two AA batteries and measures 5-5/8 by 3-1/4 by 1-1/4 inches. The remote sensor takes two AA batteries and is 3-1/2 by 1-1/2 by 1/2 inches. Batteries are not included.
