The pillow is made from Outlast Adaptive Comfort material, which has microscopic beads called PCMs (Phase Change Materials) that sense whether the body's mean temperature is too warm or too cool. If too warm, the product absorbs heat and feels cool, and if the body's temperature is too cool, the product releases heat and feels warm to regulate temperature. With the highest available concentration of PCMs, this pillow is extremely effective.
Available in two luxurious and supportive fills--spiral-spun polyester and visco-elastic memory foam--this model features the foam in a plush, gusseted design meant to maximize comfort for those who sleep on their sides. The 300-thread-count, 100-percent-cotton cover is hypoallergenic, with a zippered closure that makes it easy to remove and wash in the home machine.
